Corset Sizing

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT SIZE CORSET

Sizing corsets can be quite complicated, so if you have any queries, please contact us.

The size of a corset is the measurement at the waist when fully closed. Sizes are as shown on the website and go up in 2 inch/5cm graduations (i.e. 20”/51cm, 22”/56cm etc.). The largest corset is 40”/102cm (styles C510 and C515) which can fit up to a waist of 46”/117cm.

Each corset has its own page on the website with advice on which type of figure it suits best. You need to know your exact measurements:

BUST: around the fullest part of the bust (which will NOT be the same as bra size), whilst wearing a supportive, but not padded bra

WAIST: around the narrowest part of the waist

HIPS: around the fullest part of the of the hips

As a guideline, a size around 4”/10cm smaller than their natural waist size tends to give a good fit. However, if one part is particularly large or small in proportion to the rest (e.g. small bust, large hips) there may be a problem. If you are not sure what size corset to order please ask us for advice.
